I did go, but on certain days it's free to get in. The day I went was one of these and they were queuing down the street, so didn't bother

Odd isn’t it how much that name has become unpopular , yes Joe is still a popular name, and arguably Stalin was as bad if not worse than Adolf ….

I had a couple of hours on a 22RB at the Rocks by Rail museum near Oakham. I’d spent years thinking “how hard can a dragline be?” Well I know now. - very. I had the same feelings as when I first tried welding or operating a dozer, never going to get this. However, it did start to come together a bit before lunch. Went to crap afterwards. I really need a pond to slub out and no spectators.

you lucky boy 1982 was the last time I had a play with a 22 and drag box in a washery lagoon
was it manual or air Bri .. IMHDO a manual has a better feel to it - harder work - but a better feel

It was air, Gra. The pedals aren’t very ergonomic, had to hold my knees up as there’s nowhere to rest your feet other than on the pedals, and the number of times I tried to hoist/drag without letting the brakes off was embarrassing.
