I heard yesterday morning Reform Home Affairs spokesman Zia Yusuf on morning news about 8.40am. He seemed to have a lot of good sense to offer on the problem of illegal immigration, not least the danger of applicants claiming to be gay or victims of domestic violence so as to be allowed to stay. He said even if this is so we cannot take in the hundreds of millions worldwide that could then apply. He said we need a moratorium on immigration for some years as the UK taxpayer has been taken for a fool. Also that legal aid should be extended to UK citizens only
https://www.bbc.co.uk/sounds/play/m002v199 - would be in the last half hour of the show.

Separate to this I hear that research by the Dutch shows that each low skill non European immigrant that turns up in their country costs on average £330,000 to the state over their lifetime (so £1 million per 3) I think the Dutch state is similar to ours, so similar costs would apply here.
I cannot see anything here that Rupert Lowe would not back, so it is splitting hairs as to who has the correct way forward.

Lately I have been watching many old UK detective shows from the '70s / '80s . It really brings home how we have lost our industrial base. Most cars were then UK made, & by chance I have seen Coles & Smith cranes, Taylor & Challen presses, BSA bikes. Found my old class photo from 1970, most kids parents worked next door to the school at a huge foundry & machine shop that made bronze bushes for makes such as Blaw Knox, Rapier, (& even huge bottom roller bushes for Cat Uddingston). Firm was Marshall Osborne, another nearby was Walker Engineering - these made sub assemblies for Blaw Knox. All long gone. I fear there is no real road back to the prosperity we once had
Bang on.

Prosperity these days is 100k salary spent on mortgage for a new barrat hutch and 2 cars plus all the other must haves . And then they moan their skint.

the point being Reform have had to toughen up their stance since Restore have came along. I wouldn't trust them to do the job. Look at who they've recruited into the party recently all the ex tory wet wipes that contributed to getting us into this mess. Robert Kenrick and a super injunction while importing hundreds of thousands of Afghans! Farage has openly admitted he thinks mass deportations are pie in the sky.

Obviously I dont know the man but I get the feeling Rupert Lowe and his team are the real deal. Already polling at 9%

Marketing and advertising is constantly shoved in your face these days, it’s very clever, constantly learning and never gives up. Easy to see how so many folk get sucked into must have everything all the time!

as said many times already ...
credit of any kind has become waaaaaaaaaay too easy to obtain and most ppl live way beyond their means, to repay a portion, let alone clear their debts.
The populous in general has been trapped into the debt treadmill of no escape

Misplaced credit sometimes. Syndicate purchases of farm land for investment purposes putting prices up on actual farmers for rent and no long term commitment or tenancy offers. Who would start a 10 year business plan getting loaded up with debt and only having a 5year tenancy agreement.

interestingly most of the political bollox mail in our letter box recently, for the Sennedd elections has all been " vote for us - stop reform " ... they're all seriously worried about the level of support that might just oust these labour/plaid/green twats out of power  ... concentrate more on this than their own manifestos so must be wetting themselves

they banned tobacco and virtually alcohol advertising ....
they desperately need to ban all the bloody gambling advertising ..
virtually every/every other ad on the box is some casino/on line gambling site, etc., all bleating about 'play sensibly', to tick a box, but which must drag millions into debt on their cards
like telling an alcoholic to only sip the odd half a shandy, through a day :mad:

They are ALL shitting it about reform etc....look how much it's mentioned and talked about.
I suspect their back door polls must be telling them something. Hopefully the quiet majority will tell them where to stick it finally.
My worry is the watering down of reform etc...could be it's undoing . I get the sentiment about torys joining but come on anything better than a lab/lib/green collation 😳😳

Long way to go untill the next GE. Which of course will just be a massive smear campaign against reform.to be fair I think it's probably too late now regardless whose in charge- I think this country has had its heyday and sadly will slip further into decline.

Just remember too that the 70's were plagued by strikes, Friday cars and unreliable British built stuff. I'm not trying to dis it but going by the last 2 weeks working with others the majority of people are still useless, lazy or both.
Lost my patience this morning after 4 days with 1 in particular, nice enough boy but f****ng useless
