Not sure if it’s true but heard drivers are usually Bangladeshi etc on sh1t money and ruin machines / trucks etc but foremen engineers etc are westerners

Yes lot of drivers are Indians, Pakistanis, Nepali, Bangladeshi, we have a few Filipino lads as well, and to be honest we have a handful who I'd put up against anyone, good guys. The rest hit or miss much like home. Seen a man with 30 years experience in ireland destroy an oil quick hitch and magnet so they're everywhere. Biggest thing here I've found is trying to get things into a system of repetitive actions whether that's reporting problems with machines or taking down buildings, otherwise it's like herding cats - we're slowly getting there on that front 🤣

As for the westerners generally senior site managers and up, a lot are complete bluffers who blag there way into jobs and have worked for 10 different companies on the past 5 years 🤣

Been a while since last updated, were still as busy as ever, 2 of 7 towers are down and finished, and the other 5 are all on the way down, going pretty well. Also nearly finished the next phase of the mall project, and now pricing the 3rd phase so lets see if that lands. Getting some use out of the lowloader now, forks on shovel are dead handy, and twistlocks in lowloader are great. Picked up a tidy water tanker also for reasonable money, handy for dust auppression and washing machines down too.

Nice to spend a bit of time on the tools, doesn't happen too often. A flight of stairs was poured wrong and had to come out over a weekend so consultants wouldn't see 🤣 would have finished it in one shift but had to be evacuated due to some incoming shahed 136s 🤪

Plenty left for us at the minute anyway, hopefully its all sorted soon or it will bring all to a halt

It's ok, they're leaving enough cleaning up behind them to keep us going
I bet they are -- you'll be busy for years :(
