having spent many many evenings endeavouring to seam weld a 205 shell for a mate to go rallying in -- I wouldn't get in one - 5 or 6 layers deep in the front foot wells with the odd spot weld holding it together :oops:

They are literally like driving a tin can and there is something great about that.
A mate had a 1980's Corolla with all the carpet and sound proofing missing. Not a lot left of the exhaust and hand painted in matt green. It had the bead seat covers and a I don't think it had a gaiter for the gearlever. It was soooo much fun to drive, probably only doing 40mph but felt like king of the road.

I like cake
I have quite taken to my old stuff nowadays. Granted I have a viper she's a 2002.. everything else is tax and MOT exempt .... And my fav to drive.

The only car I have recently took to is the new Renault 5... Seems a good day to day thing...

I have recently got a dually Chevy c30 with a Cummins lump on air ... It's comical...spent 40 years in Texas baking so has some real patina too it olin places but interior is like a desert .

Picked it up from southampton, drove to Northampton , did some local trips and some commutes, took £40 of fuel 😆.. the big block it had prior to the Cummins would of took that to start it... It's quite the truck

Yeah its amazing the level hes reached - talent + dedication.
Some people say due to his dominance for years hes the goat on a motorbike , interesting discussion if you're into bikes, for me it would poss be Jean Michael Bayle - iirc motocross champ Europe, Supercross champ stateside, French Trials champ at a high level and put a 500 Yam on pole position @ GP's ..... unreal.

do it as well as you can,but learn to do it better
not usually a fan of customised bikes but this has some really nice classic cafe racer styling to it - nice use of a 1000cc TR1 yammy ... be even nicer if he'd taken all the balance shafts out of the lump -- to give it some thump
