You could argue they have more than half the functionality of a tilty but still doesn’t add up to me, Steelwrist and Kingshoffer also have similar rotate only hitches, I assume they’re similar money.

so did Engcon at one time - not sure about currently - rotator or tilt hitches ... Martinni do a combi too ... tilt or rotate, or couple together and with the B20 set up the build height is virtually nil on the hitches to couple them together

Engcon rotator hitch - belonged to the original owner of my 'Drema .. basically a tilty but with no ram - just a fixed link -- knew I had a pic of it somewhere

I've been only rotating the tilty to see what it offers - while may reach 90% (?) of the positions suggesting the 10% doesn't matter, the problem is there isn't a natural flow from those positions when your there and if you can shape at all its a short pull before its not working of out of range etc, the 90° is very misleading.

Start an "only rotate" day on your Volvo @JerryRtilt see how long you last

I know exactly what you mean, I’ve disabled one thumb and played about and you realise how much you use the tilt to compensate even a little, but do you think you can do more than with tilt only? Such as rotating 180 and clearing material in front of you or 90 and moving material from side to side?

I think @Gunners said he thought rotate was most useful ... I'd prob go rotate as well as you get some tilt. But honestly I wouldn't go either now I'd rather suck it up and spend the extra cash.

I could potentially go rotate only because I'm not used to a tilty but I get what your saying about lack of range of motion etc. the trouble is a tilting bucket is half the money of what a rotate only bucket is so I'd doubt the slight extra of rotate over tilt is worth it. Probably case of either stick to tilt bucket or make the jump to full tilty..

If I had to, I'd go rotate. I did consider it for the 3cx. But after doing exactly what you guys have been playing - a rotate only day I've decided that its not for me. I'm either full tilt and rotate, or I'll take a fixed bucket. Having half of the functionality is somehow more frustrating than having none!
