Had that before Christmas..... fecked for about 3 weeks
day 8 and feeling a bit more me ....
appetite back, thank **** ... (y)
last Sun. to Thurs. a slice of toast and three fish fingers .. :(
obviously has pi**ed off whatever was lurking (y)
small steak and Dauphinoise last night tasted soooooooo good :giggle::giggle:
Looking forward to chilli and jacket tonight ..... mmmmmmmm
as has been said ..
some weird bug for sure. Body still wrecked and head is in a pipe clamp on and off, still, but at least it's no longer 24/7 banging head.
Pain killer consumption significantly reduced.:)
Still feeling 'a little dis-connected' though

Relatives in NZ said after the earthquake the silt/sand forced it's way into the sewers ...the quickest way to clear it was to blow from the road back...they capped off most of the bogs etc but I think they missed a few with spectacular results 💥😂
Worked for a building company years ago they had a drain firm the guy put the jetter up the run straight into the toilet with explosive results, apparently 💩💩💩 everywhere. Full environmental clean and redec!
Same guy got caught w⚓️ing in a customer's toilet 🤣🤣

end of day 16 and the improvement above was short lived ... been total dog shite
body aching everywhere .. cough is killing me ... max painkillers everyday for the head
last night and tonight, right shoulder feels like someone has hit me with a 3lb hammer... just waiting for the last of todays pain killer allowance to hopefully kick in, or I'm gonna have to tramadol the bas**rd
need my head in one piece in the morning though -- gotta drag my sorry arse into town to take Vicki's car for MOT.
desperate for this bug to do one :(
your 3 weeks seems about on par Aiden @CPS - did yours depart rapidly or a slow improvement?

well the Fabia passed thank God .... (y)
and I had had enough after the couple of hours it took to sort ...
went back to bed.

Did you have the night sweats Aiden? @CPS ... bit of a regular thing the last couple of weeks

Woke up at four this morning - torso absolutely running in sweat -
shoulders up and waist down - nothing - perfectly normal - totally weird o_O

came down and slept upright in the chair to get on top of the coughing - alarm went off at 6.45 - kids to school day :(
managed to drag my carcase into town and complete the mission.
Got back and sat forcing a piece of toast down me and was like someone had slammed a baseball bat into my lower right back - unbelievable pain:cry: - could barely move - couple of paracetamol, ibuprofen gel, hot water bottle and went and found a dry bed for a couple of hours - woken up by me phone at half twelve - pain completely gone  -- really weird -- I'm hoping it was one last stand/'attack' from whatever is lurking in me as have been feeling a little more me/connected, this afternoon - cough has deffo diminished dramatically ----- see what tonight brings

Funny one at 08.00 ..
in Vicki's garden persuading the kid's pet chickens into their enclosure....
there's one hell of a crash on the road outside the house - peer over/through the hedge and there's 4 packs of 2x1 battens in the middle of the road -
with a scruffy old Hilux reversing back at 'em, with another 6 or 7 packs clinging to the back, on the head tree and about 8ft beyond the tailgate, with two pissy little ratshit straps, stretched over what was left on the truck.:ROFLMAO:
Quick as they'd wrestle a pack back on, another'd slide off .. :ROFLMAO:
must've been there a good ten minutes, sliding 'em on and catching 'em as they slid off again ....:ROFLMAO:
eventually kept 'em all on there and stretched their two ratshits back over - nothing to strap them all tight together - and they were away ....
I've wondered how far they got most of the day :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

it was something I had seriously considered doing ... and had measured up ... ;):)
SD1 wheelbase was 110.8 inches and had a rolling 110 chassis sat awaiting a decent enough SD shell to have a go with - front arches were damned near perfect and the rears were pretty close too ... (y)
I'd tried a rough old shell sat on the 110 chassis and it looked pretty mint :giggle:(y) ...
tranny tunnel was the biggest issue ..:(
alright with an LT77 box, but I preferred the LT95 with an OD on the arse end -- waaaay stronger box ....
dare say if a decent shell had come along I'd have compromised and gone with a 77  :giggle:
and then the body let me down:mad:
and me toys and shop all went eventually, together with my piles of 'spare bits' :(

was inspired to think about it by a mate who grafted a Fiat Panda 4x4 body onto a heavily modified RR running gear ... it looked fab. .... and sounded even better after I'd set up his SUs for him

came down to a rather kero-smelly utility this morning ... been getting whiffs for a day or two and waiting for it to talk to me .. positively yelling this morning ..
Had Harper for a couple of hours first thing, whilst Vicki went to a hospital appointment, so 'investigations' had to wait .... boiler firing OK, but smelling after shut down - burner nozzle was my main suspect - new one in stock ;) (y)
so pulled the burner unit out after lunch and sure enough, damp nozzle and mount body ... POP on this Grant to change .. back together and running in half an hour .... seems to have cured the issue - :giggle: ... must replace my spares, when next in Hereford :unsure:

Just been out for a smoke and waddling across the drive is this little fella ....
picked him up and put him out of harms way ...
lucky he didn't get trodden on
(apologies for the crap pic - 's 'kin dark outside) :giggle:

Bloody nozzles are the bane of my life. Frequently going back to boilers recently serviced and having to clean out and change the nozzle, and no bugger is paying for a return visit.

don't make 'em like they used to :( .... the original in there lasted circa 12 years to my knowledge ... this un's been in there less than two, maybe less. always keep two spares, as have had 'em faulty out the box  ('proper' Danfoss)
