Concrete base for a log cabin. It was 60meters down a genal to get to. No access by any other means. 3 grab loads out and around 12t of stone back in. 5m3 of concrete so i decided on having it pumped in.

240m of timber path edgings recently, all to be scraped off and fresh chippings and membrane down whenever they order the materials.

Project transit is now drivable, the diff was totally shot. No pictures but I've a video, if anyone's that bothered 🤪🤪, but Needless to say it was fuked. Rebuilt with a second hand diff internals out of a known good one. Was easier to do this than do an axle swap. Bit more tidying to do then it'll be mot time and then I'll look at mounting the crane on it.

And he's a picture of the grab šŸ™‚

Ah yeah done afew jobs around there….
Thought I’d take a shortcut back oneday and took my 3cx back down here… fook me it’s steeep!! View attachment 69412
Not been down there but I know the feeling. I'd rather climb a steep hill in a 3cx than go down one. Unless I'd got that great big daft pecker on the back, then it'd wheelie on the slightest bump going up hill.

I'm contemplating the e10 been upgraded with a new dx10. Yes I know its 20mm wider but the jcb is 700mm so it's not that critical.

Anyway I've been offered, what I didn't think was unreasonable, 5k for my e10. 2016 with 2.1k hours on as a trade in. What would you guys think it'd fetch if I sold privately?

I've just paid 5k for a 2013 TB108 with 1000hrs, so I reckon 6-7K

Probably sell for a bit more but that seems fair enough. Lot of hours in a micro. Mine is showing age at 300 hours and I’m pretty keen on grease.

I've had it from new and without malice I'll be more keen on grease than anyone, they all get a pump or 2 from the gun throughout the day.
It's still on original pins and bushes. Although it makes no odds come sale time as people will pay the same money for an ex hire battered one, just means it's gave me 9 years fault free service.

I was just wondering if it was worth the agro of selling privately as it makes no odds if I px it or not.

Try getting a bit more out of them as agreed less hassle.

I thought about replacing my e10 in April, wouldn’t mind if it was an ā€œold modelā€ dx10, but then I thought for how much it’s probably worth and how much my machines aren’t used maybe keeping it and buying a 1.9t would be more use šŸ¤·šŸ»ā€ā™‚ļø

Not a link but I was at auction today picking up some acro props in a stillage I bought for a job and guy pulls in in an old square body Nissan pickup single cab on stupid big monster truck tyres with an little ifor mini digger trailer the older deep side ones like me and @pettsy have is it gh85 or something. Pulls up in big yard between me and another guy being loaded so close I can’t fold sides back up on the ifor tipper. He gets out in a duvell coat and starts smoking something fruity with a US or Bahamas accent, next thing auction lads are bringing a terex 120 roller to load onto this little batterd trailer with half a floor. Comedy gold, I got out of there before the tyres exploded as he went to load it. Mad as a box of frogs towing a 120 terex with that old falling apart setup.

This is true beyond belief! I’ve been disheartened so many times when selling kit that I’ve Over serviced, never abused and barely a scratch on it to only get offered base money px against a new machine. .

5k as a px seems fair to be honest, @Regy53 will confirm I’m sure?

I know some plant guys that deal with a lot of older stuff going to Africa. The stories they have of people trying to collect stuff leave you bewildered. An 80 roller behind a Citroen picasso. 13t excavators on the back of 18t curtain siders with back freshly cut off. Plant being loaded into containers then vans full of white goods and charity shop clothes turning up to be packed in around it.
They try to educate them but they don't listen and can get quite funny if they have already paid for the kit

It'd probably cost me 500 to get it to you.

Tho it's good to know there's possibly abit more in it to break the deal.
I think I asked more so as I'd rather let a private buyer have a good deal but likewise I can't stand selling things privately anymore, it just hard work now, nothing like it was 10/15 years ago. As I'm sure you'll know all about.

That’s collected šŸ™ƒ
It’s worth more but it isn’t a particularly good market
