I'm told truck empty is 3.8t so leaves me 3.2t payload.

I will confirm it myself tho.

We finished around 1pm today so went to collect a bit of scrap that a lad had left out for us, not somthing I'm fussed about taking but was an ideal opportunity to get the truck on the weighbridge. Had to drive past the scrap so was a total no brainer to do....anyway truck with 1/2tank of derv in, shovles/grafter/brush ect, and including driver came in at 3600kg so I'm well happy with 3.4ton payload.

Client needs a conversation with neighbour , who’s responsible for it ? Always tricky when different levels between 2 property’s . Bil had an issue with retaining wall . He was on higher side and eventually found out he was partly responsible for it even though that boundary was not his !

In this instance it's an insurance job. So there's no quibble over who's paying.

The foundation was none existent.

The agreed replacement is H beam and sleepers.

Once again, I'm only there to do as instructed. I've had no input with designed replacement just asked to do it. Nice and simple

Omg the muck truck is out again, the most times it's ever been out this year since I bought it 9 years ago.

Clearing a pond for one of my very nice customers. Good load of silt out but more to come out at another time. They also discovered that the liner had been repaired in several places and was holed in another as well as suffering from hydrostatic pressure.

The old bimmer passed its Mot having not seen a testing station for many a year. I put 4 tyres on it as the old ones were well rotten and replaced a bulb.

Went through with flying colours, so I was well chuffed.

In other news I had been asked to put a fat trap in as the old one wasn't upto the job (not seen in the pictures). Not many pictures of the job but I'd a limited area to get it in awell as the building been extended in future, so had to keep it away from there too.

This turned up...another somthing that was right money, nice condition and fitted the bill

It's a 'gate mate' lock from toolstation.

Got same on my gates works well expect freezes some times

used to use Welka triple throw locks in gates ... got 'em from F H Brundles

only seem to do a double throw now at 24 mm -- triples were 36mm throw and once fully locked were pretty undefeatable - could also open the slam lock with the key instead of a handle so with the handle removed, it still needed a key to open it

weren't cheap but damned good locks - got one installed in me 'black shed' doors

New graby thing fitted and tested.

Removed the sides for this job. First test was lifting the big rocks off and tracking down and putting them in the working area. It was a breeze especially now I'm getting used to sticksteer on the machine.

Anyway important bit....pics..

It's lovely. This is the 301.8 but is a strange spec tho, but I got a very very nice discount because of it.

Overall its great to operate very nice place to sit in all day and feels well planted. It does have electro hydraulics and lots of electric bits but they've been out many years now so I'm prity confident in that department.

I've had cat minis for many years and is definitely an improvement over the older ones.

The strange spec on my machine is the fact it doesn't have any travel levers, it's stick steer only. They can be fitted if I ever wanted but so far I'm getting on with it fine.

Currently I'm taking the cat out over taking my doosan dx19 out.
