Well I got up looked out the window at 5.30, thought sod that and I'm sat at home with a nice warm coffee in hand.

No snow here but dear oh me the last 24 hours it has shat it down relentlessly. Supposed to stop at 9am but sites going to be a misery this morning

Some nice touches on this case badged 6.5t, weighs more than wacker but looks cramped in cab and seems small overall .

Completely snowed in here unless I dig us out and that won't be happening for a few days, if at all. Track is 1/4 mile long to the road.
Most pics were taken yesterday, had a few more inches on top of that overnight.
If the forecast is correct we won't see anymore than -1 until Sunday, so maybe in for a long haul. Unless someone gets seriously ill it's a non issue, get snowed in at least once a Winter and there was plenty of warning, although I have a dentists app on Thu.
Tiring walking the dog though, but it doesn't bother him. Was creased up laughing as he completely vanished out of sight trying to get across a drift covered ditch
5 eejits decided to go off-roading, got completely stuck:
Had to be rescued and left the soft roaders there, won't be getting them back for a while as they're a fair way from the road.

Where the snow melted so quickly bit of flooding about. Got to the yard this morning about 2" from water coming into the workshop unblocked the drain and it disappeared in about 20 min

4 inches of snow dumped here in the last hour or so. And apparently forecast for the nest few days so that's this week written off

Wash out this morning with so many local roads flooded. Went to site for a meeting at 3pm. No need to fight the chaos on the roads that was first thing.

A bit of light freeze here around zero-ish to put a soft crust on the snow, to make it just a little bit harder for us all to try and walk through.
Currently stuck in low cloud having a coffee watching the Kestrel and other smaller birds get their breakfast in the gloom. Wondering how long owls can go without food....

the lightest of dusting in places here .... hell of a frost though .... started the car at 7.15 to clear it off for a 7.30 departure for town - take the kids to school.Had another dump of the white stuff
Ground is frozen very solid and all the driveways are completely white
