Yep more than up to the job, mine has a separate power supply direct from the fuse board, stop everything tripping out then!

SGS will do you the same thing for £382, go there. Wolf used to be value but having been bought out so many times they are now overpriced.

didn't somebody have problems with these people a few weeks ago ? ... had to get a refund? and that's only a 90 litre tank
here's a 90 ltr Wolf

I'd be going for the bigger receiver but could always Tee an additional tank in (old 47kg propane bottle makes a good add on tank)

Maybe they had a problem with SGS but the compressor is exactly the same. I have the larger tank I think, it's from SGS and it's been faultless.

yeh was with SGS .... couldn't get them to deliver and eventually had refund IIRC .... the compressors are all generic and identical, 'cept for colour schemes, so I see no issue -- just depends who's willing to take the lowest profit margin I 'spose
I'd want the 150 ltr tank though, but if it's a fixed location install, there'd be no issues with tee-ing in additional storage capacity with a few old gas bottles ----- all tested way beyond SWP on the 'pressors.

What does one do about draining down the extra lpg tanks? And where can you get fittings for them that aren’t regulators?

The hard bit is finding a reverse thread fitting to screw in to the top.
nah ...
any good welding supplies place should keep them and a variety of threaded spindles ... they not all 26tpi .. some are std BSP

or just strip a few knackered gauges .. I used to buy/keep spare nuts and spindles for accidents/ham fisted ferkers using adjustables not properly adjusted ... got half a dozen made up with QC air couplers and lots of nuts kicking about

An adapter is certainly the easiest, but you loose out on the high-flow from the Aux tank.

The tanks I've used have an ordinary BSP thread once you get the valve out, so you can just use plumbing fittings (uk tanks may be quite different).
Also, if you mount the tank upside down, it doesn't accumulate water - but it will go out the delivery line, so a separator is probably necessary.

I usually bore the spindle necks out to a decent size hole, but yeh losing the cylinder valve is an option for even more flow rate

Just check the big silver compressor wheel, mine had taken a knock in transit and was snapped, they sent me a new one out straight away no hassle!
