After 2 pretty solid days using the thing, have to say is not a bad machine at all. Very powerful and quick when shifting pile and smooth and precise when grading. Does shudder sometimes when grading but easy to get over it once got the hang of the machine. Could definitely live with the niggles and take the savings on price. Would be interested to try one thats had a good few hours on it. This one came to me with 4hrs on the clock, duno if they’d drop off quicker than the taks kubotas etc long term. As a hire in machine not too shabby at all.

Strange sight when I went into big merc truck dealer in town....been there 30years and it was empty buildings and closed service/repair bays ..only the boss and secretary in office, big notice on doors saying workshops closed due to not being able to find mechanics.

Yeah few pieces in there garage roof has to be removed so it can go in with that for disposal

I often wonder if they can't be found or they aren't willing to pay what is required to get them.
Ringway that run the local highways constantly complaining about lack of staff but are offering something like £13ph for civils foreman. Is it really a suprise they can only scrape the bottom of the barrel.

Well like everything it will be a combination of things at play, but still reckon its a sign of the times regarding what people are willing to do for a living, remember it being a thriving place with blokes and trucks everywhere.
