Yep £910 each and £60 delivery… probably cheaper than rubber tracks thinking about it!!

Absolute bargain. I was quoted 2800plus vat for a pair of 600mm for the 8 tonner which I thought was very reasonable

If yours are in anyway worn I believe it's a false economy using existing sprockets as they will wear the chains quicker. They're not mad money. About £150 each.

I had a faulty 1 with mine, Aiden replaced it hoping I will get to finally set it up next week

While we're having a moan .....I've noticed what seems to be a slight bit of back to front rattle in the engcon bottom hitch, turn bucket side on and it doesn't do it, does it with all buckets so seems to be hitch, about 5/600 hrs ...
Never taken a lot of notice tbf but I thought the ram took up any play

I have seen condensation in a few before, but they do dry out if left in a warm place. There is meant to be a gas in them to keep damp out, so it could be that this has escaped.

The longer combo sensor is the one needed for the grade to blade, I never actually set it up on a machine, I might do it on our machine soon to try it out.

Yeah its odd ...my system said lost sensor, so dried it out, charged it up ..system recognised it again all seemed but readings are all way out now !

Which bit is moving? I’ll check mine when I’ve got the unit back on, taken it all off the last few weeks as I’m just bulk digging. Double the hours so should notice it more so if it’s common wear.

this is why it's critical to have pin ctrs right, in the pick ups ... the tapered pins can only take up a limited amount of slop ... if pin ctrs aren't cock on spec, it'll rattle fore/aft and the taper on the pins won't grip, as they have insufficient travel to cope with excess in pin ctrs.

Its always been used on engcon grader - and bought weld on headstocks apart from an old v bucket inI cobbled up and used for an hour maybe.
Yeah it seems to be fore and aft ...not a lot but enough to hear during certain moves.

take the cover plate off the bottom and see if the hitch is being prevented from full travel by crud?
it's the taper keeping things tight on the pins, so they need full travel available
