A micro is way more than a motorised shovel though, especially paired with a tracked dumper it's so productive for the size, fuel consumption and cost!gonna want some ground protection mats as well then - (plenty of discussion in here about them and recently) - rubber tracks're gonna make a hell of a mess of the green stuff
yeh I'd be looking at summat more than a motorised shovel for that budget .... unless of course you're working in a maze or something equally tight, constantly(and servos is a must have, rather than crouching over levers all the time )

My yanmar is on sticks, can't say it bothers me, could be because I look/am ridiculously oversized on a micro so the sticks are very close to my hands
All that being said, if I had the OPs budget I'd be wanting a 1.5, but that's not practical, or the Bobcat micro.
