had to drag my sorry arse into action these last couple of days .... exchange and completion looms on Vicki's new hutch shortly and time to start getting funds where I want them, instead of spread about in various places ... and what a bloody task that has proven to be. Some of the online a/c.s are pretty good ... some are ****in' useless .. spent a couple of hours Monday 'visiting' a few establishments trying to get things organised/sorted ... and had to go back this morning to finish some of it off ...
all before the Mog arrived on the 465 down the road from me to collect Rory's
sh1t 'spoils'

Really not up to all this, this week, but had to be done ..... am now bollo-ed
heard from Mog this morning, just as I got back ... gonna be with me (in 'our' layby) by three thirty .. and I still had to get it all persuaded into a trailer
wound up the 'Drema and dragged some slings out ...

and pulled the first bits out after getting a trailer hitched up and out the way ..

forks were an absolute bitch to get slung and juggled in beside this lot ... too long to sit in the bed and me 10ft trailer is full of tower scaffold still ... got to make a big pallet/stillage to sit that lot on to store it. getting fed up with the 10 x 5 being unusable
anyway Mog's on the phone, at half three, just as I got the second fork in spot and was about to tie it all down... so got it secured (sadly no pix of the spiderweb

- now pushed for time) and shot off down to meet the man ... Kia dragged it all up the drive very well, fair play ... but it was getting some gun up the really steep bits.
Charging down the 465 to where I was expecting him to be ... passed a curtain sider in a layby and as I did, he's tucked in, in front of the damned thing, one layby early

... managed to scotch up, get into the tail of the layby and back back alongside him ....

he's out and getttin' set up whilst I'm un-roping and we soon had it all in the dumper skip ...

as Paul said, if pushing 100 yrs of slinging/rigging experience couldn't get it all in there and pretty damned secure ..... there was no hope !!

all on and sorted by 4:15 - de-rigged and I'm waving him off, Devon bound, hoping for a seven o'clock arrival at Rory's drop off point.

came home and tidied up, from where I'd just dropped everything ... juggled a few bits with the 'Drema whilst it was out and parked her up .. dropped the Ifor back in its spot and just checking the tyre pressures on the Kia (been telling me for days it had two soft tyres - utter bollox - all bang on 31 PSI ) and Rory's on the dog for a 'report' .... "
Paul reckons he'll be with you by seven - make sure you have some air with you as the FNS is well soft " - planning on driving it from where Mog could get to, for him, so should all be sorted by now and Rory'll be slobbering over his new pile of bits, pieces and new dumper ... which looked very tidy.
Nice to see Paul again, even if it was a very brief and busy half hour, trans-shipping it all
