Rockingham? I think that was the first plant show I went too, circa 2006 iirc?

Rockingham closed a few years ago, just used as car storage for cinch/wbac now

First one I went to was Milton Keynes in early 90s all the London based plant hire subbys used to attend giving it large ! A few mates of mine that were all owner ops at the time had a pal with a big wedding limo . He agreed to take us if we filled him with drink once wed arrived . Back then it was a day out with lots of drink on every stand . I remember the hm plant stand and a guy called David Hearn running the show . No shortage of beer on that stand . I did actually drive a duck that day that I later bought as well !
Less attachments on show in them days , hydraulic hitches and tilting buckets on a duck were all the rage . I wish I’d taken some pics .
