Agree 100%. imagine getting up in a warm house and using hot water without it being a luxury. Then travelling to work on a clean,reliable reasonably priced train/bus. Then come home to a decent meal..This was the dream back in the 50/60's.Then it was sort of achieved and taken away in recent times..
Im sure the good people of this country would exist and perform a bit better if these worries were lightened.How much more tax can be taken from the wages of us regular people....

Well my guess would be a little election bribe is coming…..well not really a bribe as it is your own money that you will get to keep…..for a couple of months……then no matter who gets in……expect more to be taken off you!!
The biggest “tax” burden is currently inflation. Caused by the throwing of money to the banks since 2008 and the stupidity of central bankers to think that it had no effect on inflation…..they are still surprised that inflation has taken hold and it is not just short term events!! I do fear we are going to see their stupidity continue with raising rates and then not dropping them quick enough when the figures show a slow down has set in!!
BoE job was to keep inflation at or around 2%. With it now over 10% I haven’t heard of any of them being fired for incompetence on a scale that would get anyone else sacked!!

Came back through London on Thursday night...what an absolute stinking dirty sweaty sh*thole that place is. If that's our capital city then not much hope for rest of UK on the cleanliness stakes...I'd say anywhere else in Europe I've been felt tidier and better maintained.
If I move again I'm going further away from population....

Every time i see things like this I think we are coming closer to social collapse. By far more people support the bloke in that instance than the police and the police simply don't have the resources to cope as it is. It would not take much in the way of civil unrest for the police force to crumble, yet the police seem to be encouraging the chances of it happening by doing absolutely sod all in support of the average person.
