It is indeed, pleasure to deal with @Jimbo69 also, just by luck we also underwrote another 3cx up in the sticks of Scotland too, ( mark stevenson). It somehow worked out they both ordered at similar times and they both arrived with Scot jcb on the same day.

Made the load back easy just had to make sure both owner oops were paid out and new machines ready

Was a pleasure doing business with you Ross, zero hassle and a good bit more for my machine than the dealer offered.

That is a snug fit. Did you have to let the tyres down to get under the roof or is it just tied down tight?

Tyres are down and exhaust stack is removed, this particular lorry was low and the first time I ever had to remove a stack, tyre let downs is fairly common they are a tight squeeze

Where’s it off to Ross?

🇵🇱 Poland , where 80 percent of backhoes end up, bit of a shame as I prefer to keep the uk end users in them but as always there to slow

Howdy, been a while since a update.

Things are pretty distant in the plant sales world. Flat I would call it.

A regular supplier / friend and customer said today its a bit like it was 3 years ago. I said yes but 3 years ago the pound was at 1.30 + for a euro. Today its 1.11 ish.

For the first time in my existance Poland are starting to let us down which has been a very good export place. They are full with little sales.

Incidently its not terrible its just flat, nothing bad nothing good.

We have had some lovely machines in and have a lovely 4CX due tommroow on wide wheels... I do love machines. We also have a 26 meter Merlo tele for Lynch in the yard its somthing else. I work very closly with them ( i am sure you all know) retailing now from my yard but we prep them right and do it right. They get a great outlet and contact but no need for a dedicated sales team or depot. They have been very kind to me, a great bunch and equally they get some good results.

Also have a electric dumper in the yard. Wow that takes some getting used to it’s pretty brutal on the controls there is a lot of torque. Let’s say you wouldn’t want to stand next to it while tracking as one error and she spins with no effort at all

Wash bay is starting tommorow :DView attachment 9008

Been a bit up and down with sales recently. Just the market conditions. Prices are all over place

We had this gem come in the other day. 4CX Wastemaster only ever used for landscaping. I do have a thing for backhoes... That will probably dry up if the pound keeps increasing.

Also not that we really need it just yet but we are going to be able to open our yard right up as the landlord has put in a new road, existing in red and new in yellow. It doesn't look a lot but thats 10 meters x about 102... It really opens up the middle part of the yard which is currently fenced at a angle. I just need to see if the part where the entrance would be is worth fencing a full 30 meters down the side of the building because i dont think we would use it much. maybe for bucket storage

The fencing isn't cheap so no rush +security but great for sometime next year. Really would like to get a good franchise under the belt or start seriously into specialist hire
