Not often offered cats at all. In Fact i think maybe once in our existence and it ended up in euros last auction. He punted it for ages at 34k it made 34k iirc minus fees.Ross if you get any cat 428c or 432d's in can you give me a shout. Not in a rush for one. Just if you hear of any
Ross There’s a cat 432 in lynch livery on eBay currently advertised by yourselves, might well be a scammerino!
It does look legit, I only commented as Ross’s post this morning stated he has no cats,Seemed a bit odd.to be fair it being a Saturday evening I am well into a bottle of Rioja in a somewhat desperate bid to distract from the hideous tv My better half seems to enjoy and may well have misread that post!
on mascus too ... but can't see it on Ross's websiteThat ad looks legit? Got Sandhill Plants details, Ross’s name and phone number on it? How can it be a scam?
glad it's not just me ..... and she wonders why i spend my evenings on the netIt does look legit, I only commented as Ross’s post this morning stated he has no cats,Seemed a bit odd.to be fair it being a Saturday evening I am well into a bottle of Rioja in a somewhat desperate bid to distract from the hideous tv My better half seems to enjoy and may well have misread that post!
The cat backhoes are really marmite, I rate them for being a power house with good build quality and comfort thrown in. But the 3cx really is the best all round, lightweight, fast, nimble with the best visibility hands down! Paint falls of them both..!You detectives.. Its a F so i never even mentioned itPlus its a Lynch machine so as per I wasn't really offered it.
lovely tool mind you
You can really see some differences between them and the 3CX market, the Cat feels a bit more refined but im no operator just what I noticed.
Yep the 432e weighs 10.7t. I love it but ill admit a 3cx gets further when you get into the sloppy stuff. Id still not change it tho.I bought a new cat mini a couple of years ago and had a bit of a play in their demo backhoe,to be honest I found it abit clumsy compared to my old jake,i think it weighed in at nearly ten ton which may be why.
I quite like the look of the case 590 or new Holland 110 as an alternative.
Never found it a problem on sites and is quite nimble for squeezing in spots n turning round avoiding all the shite the groundworkers put in the way.I reckon it would be a great machine on roadwork ,seemed really well put together and a nice cab too,but I do lot of moving about on building sites all year round therefore would be a bit of a beast in the wet.
My mate just sold his 432F because it’s parked up due to not being able to get on anywhere in the wet, 10ton+ on skinny 18” front wheels isn’t ideal when off-roadI reckon it would be a great machine on roadwork ,seemed really well put together and a nice cab too,but I do lot of moving about on building sites all year round therefore would be a bit of a beast in the wet.
We have just gone for a different shade of yellow after 30 years with jcbI guess you must sleep better at night knowing there’s an army of slightly inebriated bored plant fanatics policing your online activities!
Seriously I might have to chop old Betsy in later on next year for something shiny .maybe a different colour, bit of a wrench after 30 years of of a particular shade of yellow.
