I only want it for a couple of churchyards. I have proper mowers for large jobs!

Would a scag or Ferris pedestrian type one not work. I think the Ferris is hydrostatic steering so like a Dane without a step.

Got one but don’t want to be walking behind it, the John Deere ride on is quicker and less effort. But a stand on 32” would be the ultimate.

The poor tyres

The lumag dumper just shat itself- yet another steering clutch gone. I’m starting to dislike it. The Sherpa is great for ‘flicking’ it to the back of the skip, and ones both operators have their eye in with regards to positioning you can get three heaped 600 buckets in. The Lumag takes five, but it’s not as agile and the Sherpa is much quicker to load the skip too. First time I’ve used the Sherpa loading it directly with the digger, it’s better than I thought it would be now I’ve worked out the technique. Uncurl the bucket into the bucket and it pushes the previous buckets worth to the back at the same time if you follow me.

hard work on the feet .. replaced a Ransome Bobcat with the Dane .. walk bloody miles behind a pedestrian type, as Doob says

Nah ...... you need a 60" and halve the mowing time .... mine's gonna get some exercise tomorrow

The ultimate..Major Cyclone, i just really need a front PTO to make it perfect as the tyres do trample down long stuff pretty bad. Fine for more regular cuts.

I spent a couple of months years ago mowing footpaths across the south downs with a BCS flail. Hard work turning but it didn't have brakes steering. I simply couldn't stand all day I find standing still criples my knees leaves me in agony whereas I can spend all day walking quite happily

It's for churchyards! I have a 60" under the kubota. The time saving of a 32" is in fitting between the graves.

Pic 5 is my attempt at making a chamber with grab at mouth of pipe then sat a big stone ontop, bit of a heath robinson bodge up but didn’t want a concrete ring and cover slab

With grab track was back on in 5 mins, I’ve never had track off the kx161 on those big 550mm pads, in 5 years of owning it. Number 2 managed it though have to work on his more sympathetic slewing

Replacing a failed tank and pump chamber installed by someone else about 10 years ago, its a holiday home and the system was put down in a low point in the garden that meant one way or another the pump was running constantly in winter ,its near the Canal and has a high water table, we changed the position of new tank and pump up round the back to higher ground, still we had water coming in the tank hole as fast as the little pump would go !
Bit of an challenge but getting there.

Flat out like a badger on a bypass currently. Mowing work coming out of my ears and there’s been a real run on digger and driver enquiries recently. Might get the chain trencher out to play on one of them.

Here’s todays shenanigans. Flew round the churches with the ride in and then got stuck into this, which turned in to a right slog. I find that customers who are keen on no mow may tend to change their minds when they see either the bill or the grass pile…

A recent job I helped my best mate do , its sad for me as 2 days after finishing it he sadly took his own life without showing any signs or warning.
