Who were you losing the jobs to- outfits that move their own machine?
Can't think even if you have your own transport it works out much cheaper than £120 for a local move..
Yes, either people that own their own lorry or contractors that don't have the machine, so they go to PForce, or CBL and hire a machine for the week and they charge £50 for delivery.
Haulier I know has told me he will pick machines up from MLES yard and charge them say, £240.00 for a move into Plymouth, but MLES will only charge the customer £165.00 in the hope the machine stays out the yard long enough to warrant the subsided haulage.
