Don’t get me started on the local parish hoarding funds! Ours has over 200k in the bank, will happily spend it on crappy plastic planters but won’t throw 50k at the kids park which is in dire need of an upgrade! They just like counting it like it’s their pension!

Yeah. There a bit low on councillors. Sighed him up. Not long after he was chairman as nobody wants to do it. They had in place 2 signatures to sighn cheques. Oh we don't need 2 signatures! Next the account had been drained. Allegedly.
My mate has seen the accounts.

Spotted on council work today, 3CX with 4in1 rear bucket unloading this over the top for footpath surfacing 
blocked half the junction with the lorry, then parked plant trailer directly opposite so had to shunt to turn left

Was that Byards by chance? We always used 3cx with no teeth, but it’s always quicker to lay tarmac out the choote and with barrows!

Yeah, looked a hard way to be unloading it. Was just annoying having to do a 8 point turn because their kit was abandoned in stupid places

Were paying £120 + vat to move our 8T machine for local jobs which adds up over the course of the month and we have lost jobs in the past because of haulage, so this just ticks the box for the short jobs, same as your backhoe

That’s cheap I had my 9 ton moved 2 miles and it was £240 for an after hour fastrac job when he could fit it in not at my convenience

Who were you losing the jobs to- outfits that move their own machine?
Can't think even if you have your own transport it works out much cheaper than £120 for a local move..
