cleaned most of the Golf off this morning for an assault on the drive
should've cleaned it all off .... took the aerial with it when it went
failed miserably for the first time ever
just couldn't get the velocity to get up the hill, coming out of our turn
... ice under the bloody snow
so walked the 1/2 mile to the top to get the little 'un and the same on the way back
fortunately it pissed down most of the morning, allowing me to get out at three, to collect clara from school
been thawing well all afternoon.
was very pretty yesterday/last night, but had to clear the polytunnel off 4 times in all, through the day, midnight being the last time - or lose it ... my body complains bitterly, working above my head/shoulders - squashes the abdominal contents upwards
combined with the Monday's stupidity, humping that plate onto my drill table and I paid for it last night ... up at 3 a.m. for a tramadol cocktail ... been bollo-ed all day and for the first time ever have had a second cocktail half an hour ago to try to get on top of the pain I've tried very hard to ignore all day ... gonna take a few days R&R to get over this
... poly survived though
this looked really pretty/unusual last night
and fortunately (for the plants) we didn't get the snowfall forecast last night ... think there'd have been a lot of tree damage if we had ... all heavily laden when the light went last night
our cordyline was happier for the rain this afters
as were most of the other plants buried in the white shite
I was ecstatic
more forecast for tomorrow, ..... but followed by 10 days rain apparently ... let's hope it's the last time everything gets buried 'til next winter
