Did it get a new paint job after its fettle?

what it could do with is a PRV ..... with the jet closed off the pressure it built up was remarkable .. possibly what broke the 2.5mm spigot ... was the weakest component and completely inaccessible from the outside to incur physical damage

Digging out for an extension today, got it all reduced to formation, back tomorrow to dig the foundations.

The engineer likes his steel, another beam to go in where the joists have been cut, then another one behind where I was standing. OTT as usual.

Then home to do a bit of wood butchery

Aldi petrol pressure washer going well at at least 6 years old
Frozen boots
Dig out for a patio
Acoustic enclosure installed in the back garden of amazing 'grand designs ' type house in East London- old house, built in the middle of 2 rows of terraced houses. Turned out they built the first house, then decided to build the roads north to south, not east-west!! So you go down a 50 yard alley to the front door of a multi million pound house, basically in 30 other people's back gardens
Radiator out of a Cummins DongFeng generator for a steam clean, alternator split from the engine for a rear oil seal replacement, great day out with a full crew for a big day's spannering
Discovery got jealous because I bought the defender new doors, but at least I know I'm leaking coolant, not 'loosing' it
Micro and Giant out this morning doing the annual shove up of the leaf/soil pile at a customers. More of a 1.5 tonner job but I needed to get under some trees for a soil raking job there.
Windblown chestnut and felled silver birch dealt with with the 1.5 Case yesterday morning/this afternoon.
Busy few days, similar to come the next couple of weeks

I’ve done bursts on terraced rows before, not fun. I’d just go and knock on the doors and say “there’s a leak on supply pipe, water will be off for a short period at 11am”. Have a couple of these ready along with your new section of pipe ready made up and should be fairly quick changeover, most will probably never know!

Would hide the 2 or three lights, but the stupid system when it detects abs sensor fault, pretty much shuts down...
No front or rear parking sensors
Radar turns off, so no pre collision assist or cruise control by distance to vehicles
Hill descent control
Hill start assist
Traction control seemed to be off
Abs reduced or off, both of which was a bit s**t on an iced road, rear tyre lighting up and not able to stop, although was iced up a bit so may not have been any different?
So possibly stability control and Also the trailer sway assist
There is probably some other bits too
Managed to get it out with it snapping three times, with a trip to Halfords then Screwfix to try and get some different easy outs, as mine were too big when it got down towards the end of the sensor.
All in all nearly 3 hours for what should have been a 10 minute job

the old shape navaras wont go into 4wd with the abs light on. Which is very amusing when your mate goes ploughing into a great big muddy hole in a heavily modified off-road truck. Breaks an abs cable and is now a 2wd and very stuck

that was quick ..... took me at least that a side on the P38 fronts when i did the swivels ... and they were on the bench .... can't drill 'em out cos there's this bloody hard as glass magnet in the bottom of 'em ... extracted a fragment at a time
replaced with half a bucket of sili grease a side

you have my sympathies

then in the afternoon pulled the seat and box it sat on out

so I could fit this

then seat box back in

just got to fit the control box to the armrest tomorrow after the MOT
