what's your DERV ATM then?I have just paid (converted to Sterling) £1.38 + vat for our red equivalent.
Next year is going to be fun when we are supposed to go to white like the u.k - thankfully we don't use a lot.
Waaait a minute .... brain fartwhat's your DERV ATM then?
Ok Mr TumbleWaaait a minute .... brain fartI just paid €1.17 per liter so £1.00 per liter
That feels so much better .....the power of positive thinking
It's about €1.80 at the pumps for white so £1.23 + vat by my obviously shite reckoning.

is there a reduced VAT rate over there ? 5% for less than 2300l hereI buy 1000l or 1500l a time.
do you get given a receipt? what level of VAT is he charging you ? more than 5% and he's pocketing the balanceHow much are you buying at a time? My local charges me £1.60 per litre for red because I collect it 50 litres at a time in jerry cans. Don't use enough to justify getting the tanker out sadly.
Yeah get a receipt. I phoned around because I was googling red diesel prices and seeing similar figures as Furniss but even the other 2 companies in the area say its a volume by price basis so unless I start ordering in the thousands of litres then I'm onto plums. Either that or make pals with the farmer and chuck him a few quid, which might not be a bad idea...is there a reduced VAT rate over there ? 5% for less than 2300l here

very few will deliver less than 500l, some's min. is 1000l ... depending on your usage/frequency of purchase, it might be worth inquiring the rate for say 600l collected and get yourself some clean oil drums ... not many will deliver into drums, especially if you're not known to themYeah get a receipt.
