for how much James? ... you stopped using the HVO?

It’s GTL I’ve been buying, still using the red GTL. Not got a price on white GTL unfortunately, I’d like to use it, but with prices the way they are I could do without the extra expense on top of the standard derv price. I was keen to find out this time though, but it got ordered and forgot to enquire about the GTL. Certas, who supply the GTL, where over 4ppl dearer for derv than our local independent supplier, so if GTL was a few pence more than derv, like it used to be, then that would soon make it much more expensive than we’ve just paid!

As usual the price will likely drop next week 🤦‍♂️, but it’s difficult to know when to buy at the moment!
But I do know it’s considerably cheaper than the local pump price! Some of them are still seriously taking the pi$$!

Go Filling stations have done a black Friday deal on fuel, it has started today apparently.... 20 odd pence of per litre.
My wife was going through a town this morning and got held up more than usual.... got to the filling station and it was packed out and up the road...
On her way back got held up by 40mind because off it... madness

couldn't recall the abbreviation ...... can see why you're not bothering though, when it's already dearer before you start

Has anyone took their bulk tank to the filling station to fill it? I’ve been thinking about it for a while now but I’ve got the fear my card gets rejected and I have to pay the pump price 😂

It is something I've debated too. You'd definitely want to use the high speed pump filling them up tho.

I've taken fuel cubes in and filled them up.
500l so less than half a lorry tank.

Pumps at a lot of places are set up to cut off at 90/100 litre region

Little black button on some of them with a lorry picture next to it. Takes the limit off on some pumps. Or go and give your fuel card to the counter before you fill up and they will take the limit off.

Round here they cut you off at 90 ish liters and some won't let you go again til you cough up.
Nope they have 2 truck pumps diesel only . Fast as f . I'm certain they technically supposed to check your card first but he's always to busy gabbling in gutsharati to his mates to notice me 😉

Do you guys not have a bunker site? I don't go much as they so busy with idiots buying kero and derv in 25Ls 😏
But that's well handy with the bigger nozzles and fill speed.

Everyone just has fuel cards and we get what we need. Until COVID the firm had bulk tanks in the yard but couldn't get deliveries so now everyone has a fuel card and fills up what they need. The blokes on the 13t machines have bunded tanks in there vans most people have a couple of 25l drums. I usually bring a machine back to the yard every night so just fill up unless I'm on a bigger machine then I use the fuel cube. Have even stuck the suction hose of the machine in the lorries fuel tank before as didn't want to take a bowser.
