rude awakening at seven ... little Harper still not well ... can she come up - "
of course - no worries" .....
gonna be another long week
.... better with us than nursery
and it was

... Harper had a half day at nursery Friday morning as she was on the mend and needed to break her 'back in', to her weekly routine .......
'S now gonna be a long weekend ..... Harper's 'christening' Sunday and a combined 'bit of a do' after for her and Clara's birthday recently .... So got a houseful of the Plymouth contingent for the weekend ... arrived about six and their 10 mth old is still bawling as I type

.. the three and five year old are tucked up with cousin Clara having a sleep over .... has been a raucous evening !! With an equally rowdy couple of days to follow.
Pam's been cooking/baking all day and I got assigned the house ... top to bottom and all the beds ...... place'll look like a bad day in Beirut by Sunday evening
'the cake'
one of many impressive rainbows this last week, with a second lesser sister above it
Golf MOT Monday ... faultless apart from the fact the bas**rds have moved the goal posts in the last 12 months, by 33% and it failed emmissions ... so a lot of faffing Tuesday to get 'em down to way below last year's more than acceptable level

'S done 3040 miles in 12 months

so hardly massively deteriorated in that time
new fuel filter- again -- filled the cannister with 24 quidsworth of injector/system treatment and thrashed it limp for 40 miles to arrive back for the allotted re-test time with it well cooked ..... for a pass.
this didn't help the cause ....
inlet tract flexi, where it had been assaulted by the poxy plastic '
hide the engine' cover ... amazed it hadn't lit up on the dash ... some sili and self amalgamating tape to keep that put .......
followed by an appropriate trim of the offending cover's corner with a 5" thin disc
like it hurts yer eyes to look at the rocker cover FFS ...... job did - sorted for another 12 months .... Pam instructed to drive the bloody thing harder and don't change up under 2k ....... in any gear

... keep it well 'ventilated'
was gonna swap the axle position sensors on't P38 this morning, 'til I got assigned the 'clean up squad' duties ..... lovely blue sky morning and forecast all day ... lasted 'til about 12, at which point it pissed down - yet again - so was at least saved a drowning, laid under said motor, cursing 25 yr old nuts & bolts.

Weekend looks to be appalling again ...... but next week ain't looking too bad ATM ..... might just have a couple of dry days
