's a peach ...... and one of the homologation run of 200-ish twin plenums .. very rare indeed... would love to know how many survive ....... BTCC winners for several years .. then Tony Pond went rallying 'em with decent success

I recall reading somewhere a little while back than some brit team had won an event at Le Mans 24hr with an SD1 team this year, presumably touring/saloon car category? .. they're a formidable bus, go well and handle very well for 1500+kgs of motor

plenum flexis are 'scabby as', as is the under-screen trim edge, in the usual place ..... fuel filter's in the wrong place too

This bloke is doing it with just the nose out another axle bolted in the back and alternating which side the pinion fits

But that would be like driving in reverse all the time on the rear diff not really made for that as the thrust will be on the wrong side of the gear teeth

I think the bigger problem would be no diff between axles.

think about it Mog .. the pinion coming out the back of the 1st axle will be contra-rotating, so the rear one needs to do the same - agree on the thrust -- I think

Think you would be better off fitting air suspension and putting more pressure on one axle. Then when your stuck you can give it full wack. Would also give a better turning circle and save tyre wear.

When to a hauiler retirement auction last week, trailers still very strong money, fresh stuff many 1000s more than new, couple of year old trucks down a little, 3-6 year old still about the same, a bit older strong money.

Realistically 400k isn't a lot for a lorry. Those ivecos tend to be a bit rattly in the cab and have crunchy grearboxes.
