They have already changed all rural roads to 40mph. These are roads that haven't seen crashes in years. Then of course half the people carry on at 60 which tbh is perfectly safe until you encounter the other half of the population that have to drive 10mph under the speed limit.

taxi drivers in Aber playing hell here ... just can't get enough fares to make it pay ... when it was 30 they still used to fly about regardless, but now there are so many slow moving obstacles (and cameras) they have to comply

Just checked and it's starting with cold harbor. This is the village half way up leith hill. It was part of the route for the 2012 Olympic cycle race. As such the roads around it are so chocker with cyclists that you would be hard pushed to do 10mph most days. The only people stupid enough to go anywhere near it of a weekend are tourists. It's when they start making the bigger roads 20mph that the problem will occur.
