I’d just get a piece of sheet steel, drill a hole in it with a step drill and then cut the outside circle using hacksaw and grinder etc.

Job jobbed 😀😀😀

Ps, screw fix, tool station and eBay all sell step drills for a few quid and they are very useful to have to hand.

Little update I have finally have the operators station back now time for more spraying and cleaning

Another update

Operator's Station sprayed panels have had there mounting tabs welded on and attached tops trimmed actually looking like it should finally

It’s what I do!
I did a slew gear on one many moons ago for Ammann Yanmar Warranty, it was in Sutton somewhere!
