if you've had a 'good year' it's a good place to spend the earnings, rather than giving it to the blood suckers, as you get to keep all of it to spend ...
new equipment is also well up in the deductability stakes too
..... we all pay far too much tax

I use it with consideration on the location, I don't like to bury it under tiles but will use it everywhere else. I do try to hide my pipes though.I use it out of sight, always copper when on show. Important thing is to mark insert depth before pushing pipe together

Why do people prefer to hide plastic and show copper? Seems very disney to me. Next place (house) I want manifolds under boiler with continuous runs to all radiators and appliances taps etc. No hidden/inaccessible joints apart from possibly first fix kit behind bar shower. The pre formed plastic bends which you bend the speedy fit into are good 10mm and 15mm.

I donāt like burying any pipes internally regardless of material, I just explain the risks to customer and let them choose.
Copper sits straight in clips whereas plastic wonāt (unless you use straight lengths) Hereās of my installs, couldnāt do it that neatly in plastic!

Great install although the condensate pipe spoils it
Love doing plumbing with copper. However, this year I was converted to the merits of JG Speedfit stuff.
Certainly helped massively doing the kitchen refit with new water softener and rising main etc
I even stuck the plastic stuff in clips to get get nice straight runs
Quick Q - Will be installing a new oil boiler very soon. Was thinking of a nice Grant VortexBlue......
.....do you have experience and/or thoughts about these low Nox boilers

Iāve seen the condensate done in copper......donāt last long mind
I donāt really deal with oil boilers only gas ones, and fit pretty much nothing but Worcester Bosch.

Quick go, nothing heavy though. On paper it ticks all the relevant boxes, looks/feels well screwed together, it has a great cab, Iāve not seen or heard of any negatives tbh.
I donāt think thereās much between the machines from the main players in this weight category in terms of quality/useability, but you can soon spend a lot optioning apparently equivalent machines up (a mate has just thrown a further Ā£500 at a Kubota to have a radio FFS!).
One of the applications Iām hoping to use it for on occasion is to run a mulcher (that in reality is a bit too big for this size machine, but wonāt be tasked with heavy vegetation, only light scrub) - with optional extra counterweight and the apparently available oil flow it seems to tick my boxes slightly ahead of others in its weight class (and is one of the reasons I didnāt go for a zero). And it should be legally towable with the attachments in the tow vehicle.
Added to that Bobcat have interest fee finance at present (not strictly true as there is Ā£300 document fees on top before the machine is yours, but Ā£300 over 5 years is buttons!).

Whatās the lead time on these E27ās? I know someone who has been without theirs since February, waiting for a problem to be resolved, I assume this is due to supply issues?

I was told that they are on a 6 week lead time, but mine is coming from dealer stock somewhere within the network so should have it in a week or so apparently.
Keen to hear of any issues though!

Mine has taken about five weeks, apparently itās in dealers yard now but I keep chasing them for updates! I went for twin aux so expected it to take a little longer.

Something was mis-aligned during manufacturing. Result being that with a grading bucket fitted, it was 2ā higher one side than the other! Something seriously wrong with a jig somewhere? Story Iāve heard is it wasnāt a one off, a whole batch were the same, so getting a new part to rectify the issue was proving difficult! Guy reckons the boom was twisted somehow, but it could be boom, dipper, kingpost, or even the main frame of the machine! Heās not sure by the sounds of it, all he knows is it was not right and itās been gone since February!
