Should be labour rates charged, I'm sure there was a section for average paid wages.

Just had a further look and there is a whole chapter on wages and what it actually costs once you have added in all the costs - very interesting. Not sure what the different skill levels are, but here is the first table:

Just spent 99p too. Not a lover of pricing books at all... but for 99p it's worth a read and potentially a laugh.
Further to what I said earlier (typing on my phone and have fkd my right hand so it's not fun) The money is there for a sensible contractor with a brain to make a decent bit on a job. Times the actual landscaping is needed the area will be pretty flat with either a crane access or hopefully a access for a 2t machine up a slope or in via a path at the top of the site. What is not needed is the type of yes man wanker landscapers I have dealt with recently who will say they can do everything for nothing and then wind up charging a ridiculous amount of extras......
(I then usually am the mug asked to come and put things right ) The job is the type that needs someone with a brain, the client knows it won't be cheap but equally the budget is not a bottomless pit.

.I've just ordered myself a set too. Been trying to get hold of the external works one for years. It might not be 100% accurate but should be a fairly good place to start when pricing up work. Good find @Grahams

Can you post the figures for the operator. Just curious to see what they are using on the different diggers. From memory the figures are cost and don’t include a mark up.

Well that was certainly a laugh looking at those prices, not sure where they got those from?....these big hire firms won’t come anywhere near that sort of money...you can gets machine off them from a fraction of what there posting up.Got it a while ago. Looked up the rates for a few of the jobs I'd been on recently and found enough errors to not trust it.
