Really comfortable and long lasting. Get 2-3 years out of a pair at least.

I have the same boots. Very comfortable. I really don't wear anything else unless the wife forces me.
Only down sides I have found is the tread tends to get little stones stuck in it and they are not very waterproof.

Exactly how I'd describe them. Just bought some BuckBootz Buckshot BSH014 dealer boots, not as comfy for sure just a stop gap till new pair of Redbacks land. Had Blundstones before this pair and they just fell to bits, only bought as Redbacks weren't available at the time.

I'm currently wearing a pair of buckboots dealers that I bought a couple of weeks ago for a wedding couldn't get a pair of redbacks off the shelf and needed a pair in a hurry. They're pretty comfy but a lot stiffer than redbacks. I think they’ll have a decent life span

Has anyone tried a pair of these. I like wearing dealer boots but its really wellie season. I really struggle to track a machine with wellies on and generally dislike them if I can avoid them but like the idea of thermal and proper waterproof.

I think I can deal with allotmentish for dry feet. I have a new pair of bucklers but they only had the swade ones so don't even want to walk on long grass in the morning as I know I will be peed of all day

I like the idea of those. My buckler wellies have split and they've not had that much use.

Any recommendations for chainsaw boots that will fit very wide feet? I just gave my new chainsaw wellies to one of the lads as I could get them off as they are so rigid. Used to have some Oregon lace ups that were really comfortable but wore them out. I want something that's nice enough to just put on and leave on all day if I'm thinking of using a saw at all.

Give yourself a day off and have a road trip up to the APF show in a few weeks, you should be able to try on just about every boot on the market.

Haix have just about the biggest range of fitment. They actually do different widths in the same size.or at least they did.

I have had 2 or 3 pairs the last ones didn't last as long as the others, laces are always s**t though.
Latest boots I got the Strauss with the boa they are good but think I will go back to haix next time and maybe try the no lace version.
The Strauss are quite comfortable and water proof but due to the poor design they aren't very waterproof above the top of your foot so only good for up to a max of 100mm (it's probably less than that never measured) the tongue where the top of your foot meets your ankle has gaps in the tongue so when tightened leaves two holes where water can just go through or dirt but if your unlucky small bits of gravel get through as well

Only ever bought 1 pair of straus they lasted 3 months and got my money back

Tbh if you want to wait around in water why not just wear wellies. I prefer boots to work in but wellies are a necessity in the UK.

I have seen these which look a good option.
