I think the class they are in is the main difference .
That’s a zero swing king post machine , a derivative from king post machines that have come from 3 tonne minis to the current 10 tonne plus offerings .
The ex100wd was built like a conventional side boom machine . It was in the 12- 13 tonne class and took the same buckets . It was lightweight for a big duck which made it really nimble .
never seen an ex100wd ... plenty of 'em on tracks and went to look at one, pre 'Drema acquisition ... looks a nice duck:giggle:

Certainly is, sort of!

I believe they are being built in our factory in Annecy but I haven't been over there recently to see this in person. I think its based on the 9MWR but with obvious differences to ensure they are easily differentiated. I assume it uses the same Deutz engine but not sure how similar the hydraulic system is, pictures from its launch clearly shows the cab is being VERY similar inside.
