I'm pretty sure it limits expansion. On mine it's tight when tracks are all the way out and loose and floppy when retracted.Thought that just Limited how much it retracted in not out ?

Yes exactly that.So these bars are just flopping about underneath looking at the diagram it looks like they should be bolted though the track frame ?

right ... been and had a look for you ... got two types, both as good as the other ... one is Hyster's 'own' brand ... use it on the carriage to make the forks slide easily and made a hell of a difference on 4t/7t forkswell reminded ... I'll leave this page up 'til I've had a lookmemory is utter shite these days

good old EP 80/90 ..... Extreme PressureCan I use just normal car gearbox oil in the track motors ? Or is the a special one ? It just saids in the manual 90w gl4 so is that 80-90w ?
