What disc cutters are we all using then?

For internal work Evoloution have a mains powered one- no idea how good it is though.

Builder who did my house extension has one and loves it. Quick and easy to cut materials without messing about with fuel etc. I seem to remember it cuts deeper than a petrol equivalent.

Can't back track on electric

Had all the main competitors inc festool etc stihl battery DEWALT and I brought by ts410 and ts420

I’d requested a vacuum pump for the water though but they said too much money,

We have the 110 wet Evo. Decent tool. Not as gutsy as a petrol one, but fine for knocking through an opening. We tend to use it for trenching floors indoors.

Makita have one too although I don't think you can use it with water but it does have a telescoping guard and a vac point. I've got one but it's broke .

If you want something lite what about the 9in version. I believe it has a deeper cut than a 300mm Stihl.
And friendlier on the pocket than the big one

Interesting they have a 230mm and 350mm battery saw but no 300mm version.

just bought a used one of these for use on site when doing block work or block and beam Indian stone or block work etc

we mainly only use the dewalt 230mm flexvolt 54v for most stuff, if deeper we have floor saw with 500mm disc or 14" ts420

Makita EK6100. Used to use a DPC6400 (Still do if the EK has been pinched)

Always easy to start, Reasonably powerful and has a good cut depth.

Partner k650 starts easily and powerful only fault wit it is it eats belts if you jam it

For block cutting I got a cheap 14" chopsaw from screwfix and a diamond blade all in about 150 quid inc blade

What sort of money do they makes s/hand? I have had mine from new and its not seen a lot of use TBF.
Thinking of parting with it and a few bits soon.Its sat in me shed for 5 yrs untouched. Going to have a ebay session soon

Ive two older ts400 that i dont use having ts410s and a ts420 located near Manchester that can go at £150 each both good saws

I am going cordless for the next one. Rare that I need the depth/speed/power of the petrol one.

We’ve just cut 10 0f these at 3.6m for aco drains, I marked them with battery DEWALT saw then cut them with ts420(350mm 14” blade) . Slight oversight in we’ve big floorsaw and new double blade floorsaw and I’ve got the caddy for stihl to make them into a floorsaw but we kind of jumped on it after something else didn’t arrive so just made do. Both our hands tingling and backs sore after 20 cuts in 90mm asphalt. Little sb100 was a beast though breaking them out.

Pump bottle with DEWALT inflated at 10psi worked great
