It’s a strange one, the cabin is bigger on the defender as the doors are thinner/less sound proofing , the discovery has far nicer seats , much comfier and supportive etc.Considering how big they are though I think they feel really cramped in comparison to the discovery though. Almost as if they had to cling on to it as a key design feature of defenders
So the defender will just be for poncing around in.’d pick up a used lwb van for my rough work/tool carrier(doing actual work with!)

Good because as a commercial vehicle it looks pants in the backApparently the Defender has battered the discovery sales, discovery is being redesigned soon
Defender no1 seller for JLR now.Apparently the Defender has battered the discovery sales, discovery is being redesigned soon
Gonna be a plantalk defender club at this rateLovely motors![]()
Yea I think it was 110k defender and 15k disco sold last year!Apparently the Defender has battered the discovery sales, discovery is being redesigned soon
Agree but I prefer def to drive over my D5. Handles way better and goes like stink.Yea I think it was 110k defender and 15k disco sold last year!
Genuinely the disco is the better car, being smoother more refined and comfortable, but as a commercial the defender is much better, with the full wash out floor, more rugged plastics etc, larger cabin and 3 seats up front.
That’s the point… lawnmower option came free on this one!!Gonna be a plantalk defender club at this rate
I'd put a pic of mine but it's covered in shite ...![]()
Yeah it’s a tough one, rear seat space is amazing in defender but the boot barely fits the pram in - where as the disco gets pram and full Costco shop in no problem!Agree but I prefer def to drive over my D5. Handles way better and goes like stink.
Plus with 3 kids they trash the interior and disco all a bit gloss and posh.
And regards space I reckon rear 3 seats and area is biggest out there...my lad is 6"5 now 🫣
