yeh the city cranes're a handful on the road for sure ....
and would bog on anything other than hard standing/roadways
Grove built one in the 70s with two cabs, back to back on the superstructure, with the boom carried 'out back' and driven from the 'roading' cab ...
were still a fair way back from the front of the machine, but at least the boom was behind you
only ever seen two of 'em in a dealers yard I bought my Demag 30 tonner from. No idea what their model designation number was - IIRC 35-ish tonners

always fancied a Kato City crane, but no way could you have been driving it safely round here ... 45t Grove was bad enough with what it had out front of the cab - mine was a lower slung twin cab, but left hook ...

never seen one of these before a Saturn ... think it's German -- look at the jack cylinders on that :oops: - no idea what the second set are for ? possibly for short rigging, looking at the pad foot stowed on the wing :unsure:

WTF was in the mind of the operator when he kept on slewing right FFS ..... everyone was on the floor as long as he was over the N/S/R jack - pr*ck
the second that jack pad got air borne, I'd've been taking big steps away from it, not clinging on like a brain dead gibbon ... their falls must've done some serious damage to each of 'em :oops:
