With only 2 of us it made the job much easier. Crane arrived at 8.30. Cranes in 2 lifts of cup lock scaffold needed for the overhand work. Trusses arrived at 9am and all off loaded. All on the roof and spaced out by 10.30. I had the internal scaffold up by 1pm and went to kids Halloween party. Chippy was left doing the bracing.
No sweat or tears involved!!

I've been looking in on that webcam regularly, the last few days Frank and they've taken some time to assemble that beast .... i've yet to see a body in shot, when I look - anytime of the day
Three heads spotted at 11:40 am

I'm not sure if it can do the 360 turn but at least it can do a 180 turn

'headache balls', probably, to weight the wire slings and keep them hanging perpendicularly ... unless brand new they'll want to 'coil up' .. of if they've been used before they'll do the same ... pear weights are their 'proper name' .. some have hooks fitted, some are split and simply clamped around the wire. ... used to keep single wires / cables hanging straight .... got a couple of 'small' ones here ... will get some picks later ... that's my best guess from that image - too small to really see

I'd agree ... possibly/probably remotely operated load levelling system ... usually use chain blocks to alter lifting legs, but too big and inaccessible on this project ... would only need one line each ... gravity will cope with the return to extended

I remember working down in Newcastle dockside around 18 year ago when they had the big boat in, conga I think it was called. There was a monster crawler crane on the dock doing all the lifting on our part of the job. A few days into the job we were all in the galley having lunch and there was an older gentleman sitting across from us with the worse case of DT's I've seen then and now, to the point of barely being able to function. We were all wondering what role he played on the job and it turned out he was the operator of the monster crane we were using 
he could hardly drink his coffee without a sippy cup his hands were shaking so bad but he could handle the crane nice and smooth 
made you stand more clear when lifts were happening just in case though
