I drove passed those works in Machynlleth just before Christmas & though it was a bit over kill for replacing the dovey bridgesome great pix from a job Alun Griffiths has been doing in Wales

It was considered overkill for the Cotswold job but was specced as it could still lift in windier conditions....... sensible they did as it turned out

Guy I know has sold his liebherr 4 wheeler and just runs a small cabstar style thing with hiab on...doing specialist lifts like glass etc...making very ..good coinIn it's way it is as impressive as Sarens 1200 tonner , niche market done well

3.5 or 7.5t? I looked at them for a while but payload is abysmal so seemed to be more sensible to make one on a trailer. Info on it:
The Nissan Cabstar (3.5t) is fitted with an Atlas A38-4 crane capable of lifting 300kg at 9.2 metres radius and 1 ton at 3 metres radius.

bit newer than mine but same 2 door body ... done a nice job of truck cabbing it ... and NO ... Won't be doing a conversion .... giving it some TLC's high n the list for the coming (hopefully) better weather ...would be nice to have it mobile/usable again
