Sorry to post such a boring question but cant find any info much on web.

No jokes about s**t electrics on Iveco cos I have only had it a year and I know them all already

Warning light EDC and an exhaust picture coming up .... seems a bit down on power.

Searching suggested could be fuel filter but with the exhaust pic Is the egr valve the suspect ?

The issue is you own a lorry. I keep telling you lot there horrible vindictive wanker things but none of you listen!

I would actually suggest the exhaust picture is a injector. A friend had a similar fault last year which turned out to be (after a lot of searching) a faulty pressure sensor on the Common Rail.

I'd be giving it to someone to sort personally. Could get expensive,

had a 30t, 8 leg Grove, with a 240 Cummins in it .... the slightest drop of H2O in the filter'd drop it's power .... guess it used every drop of fuel it could get.
filters were very small on it though and changed them for much bigger units ...... just cured the frequency of filter changes ... still did the same, just less often .....
all me other machines, etc., ran from the same tank .... this bugger just seemed susceptible to it ..... usually at the most inconvenient of times

Hi, I would say it’s a blocked DPF looking at the picture. See if you can find someone with Iveco diagnostic equipment to plug it in. Any good independent commercial vehicle workshop should be able to do it. Might be just blocked from prolonged periods of idling or short journeys but equally may have under lying fault causing it to block. If it were a car any fault code stored in engine ecu can prevent dpf regen.

Just got back from Iveco stealer who has had it plugged in - says its not fuel related but in fact its the pump module for the adblue is down on pressure (I watched a test curve on his laptop and the pressure was good just took too long to reach pressure or something ) and needs replacing - there could be two models he wont know which till he takes it out and sees the number underneath - anyhow he has given me a price of 1900€ plus vat to change.

Any thoughts guys ?? Adblue emulator ?

On way back the missus rang to say she was coming home in limp mode coming home in car and it was saying particle filter lol - you couldnt write it

Are all the pipes for the adblue clear or even replace them. Previous company I worked for chased there tail trying to find adblue fault and ended up selling the truck for the new owner to change the lines and clear the fault and that was thought to be a dead pump.

Unlikely unless it’s been tampered with, as they should all be either plastic or stainless. But could be a blockage in a fitting?

Cant really get rid of the wagon , spent a long time getting it sorted out, no choice here in the sticks in France (not at all like u.k where you can choose from any number of trucks) and it's a hookloader with all our storage sorted etc ......and tbh I'm pretty happy with it, it drives and pulls well, really handy for my job so I need to persevere with it
I will look at blowing the lines out with the airline
Been searching the net this afternoon and it is full of adblue problems across all makes.
The dealers seem to try to cure it by changing out bits starting at the cheapest
Also made a couple of inquiries about adblue delete systems where you plug in a module that tricks the ECU into thinking all the parameters are correct and doesn't limit power. (1 in 12 wagons on the road have them on apparently)
Some guy rang me straight back to offer to sell me a little box of trix along with homemade installation instructions for £690
I saw bison parts do an bosch adblue pump for £650 .... bit less than the 1900€ +vat price quoted from the stealer.

Yes it has although we did say it sounded a bit noisy when its doing it once or twice

The best thing for clearing crystals out of the system is distilled water. Hot tap water won’t do it as well.
