For normal usb doubles then 35mm should be fine, I think 25mm are too shallow for some because of the electrical kit on back of the socket. In certain areas I fitted these ones that used a specific 47mm back box, and have blanks where I added usb point/cat6 and tv aerial points. Went a bit mad with cable ducts too with the idea of future proofing should anything new come along…..then sold the house!

35s+ make life a lot easier of you've a few twin and earths going into a socket as well hate 25s

As said some usb will fit in a 25mm box, 35mm will make life a little easier.

Get a corded wall chaser and class m dust extractor shouldn't be too much dust in the air with a decent wall chaser.

Hilti is decent for the chaser, although the latest version is a bit under powered compared to the older one, did try the titan version but is crap.

If you have dot and dab you could possibly just run the cables up the void, not ideal but works if you get lucky with older style dabs that are just few and random
