I want to get my 8t in the skip on mine - it really needs to do more than move equipment to pay for itself.

I find it weird that lorry hasn't got double flip ramps as doesn't even provide a flat area to put palletized materials.

Probably perfectly suited to his machine. Least its got a nice tight bum on it. For getting about.

Looking at it, with such a short rear over hang/beavertail length double flip ramps would be too steep.

Looks nice. Is the green box in the second pic onboard weigher ??

I'm guessing it's related to the hook ... like safety stop.
It would need finish bits - storage - beacons etc

Will give a nice gentle angle to pull the bin up though with the 2 sets of rollers so far apart.
If it's a problem it's not a massive job to shorten it but will affect the angle

Yes I believe Merc still use 8 through a gate.
And autoboxes tend to have more gears usually 12+

I need 5m skip so it is what it is I suppose ..... short wheel base which is good.

Went to look at the merc wagon this morning and went "double de clutching" the 8speed round the area for 1/2 hr - all good although noticed some white smoke under load for a bit that seemed to go after a while ..... bloke with me said egr .... me I know knothing.

anyone any suggestions ? Normal ?
