Ebay, mates bidding it up be relisted by now probably.
well if it is i can't find itEbay, mates bidding it up be relisted by now probably.
I was bidding on a dumper a few weeks ago sellers mate bid in small increments until he became the winning bidder then retracts his last bid to ensure the seller got maximum priceEbay, mates bidding it up be relisted by now probably.
agree, but if you get it within your limit ..... at least you get what you want ... have had it done to me with a 'second chance offer' ... don't know whether that still operates or not ... would have to have a good reason to retract a bid like that though ... not easy to get fleabay to retract one, especially a winning bidI was bidding on a dumper a few weeks ago sellers mate bid in small increments until he became the winning bidder then retracts his last bid to ensure the seller got maximum priceI’m not really sure that is quite in the spirit of things either.
Everyone's always selling the best example aren't theywell if it is i can't find itwasn't a bad price really ... looked pretty straight
if the seller's description was genuine, someone had a decent buy
" I have owned this for many years and it has always been a great piece of kit and I can ensure the buyer won’t be disappointed!
Has never had a hard life has only ever been used round the yard and for rollling the potholes on the lane etc.
2 speed tracking LOW-HIGH which is Rare on these machines
vibrating drums
Diesel hatz engine that is quiet not like ordinary ones and starts first time everytime anyone that knows about hatz knows they are bulletproof.
No dents on the roller anywhere still has the original toolbox on the side of it and handle holder"
yep ...... don't you ??Everyone's always selling the best example aren't they![]()
You've got to remember to take the for sale pics 10yr before you list an item for sale though.yep ...... don't you ??![]()
I do tend to agree. If I feel I have been pushed up by a non genuine bidder I will have that conversation with the seller and tell them to relist it. Being bid up over the reserve is what I consider to be a little naughty.I was bidding on a dumper a few weeks ago sellers mate bid in small increments until he became the winning bidder then retracts his last bid to ensure the seller got maximum priceI’m not really sure that is quite in the spirit of things either.
£500 to £1500… I’d pay £1500 for a tidy one not smashed up one that hasn’t been repainted anyday of the week! Finding one like that is a different story!
Thanks, fingers crossed it doesn't go for too much.
Where did it come from auction or eBay etc?View attachment 33000my first bit of ex mod kit ( other than water proof coat).
So much easier to use with the forward reverse.
Not had a go at lifting it with the E10 yet![]()
I've been looking too I would not use it enough for a new 1 but 2nd hand ones 1200 upwardsFinally got myself one, good as new, top top end money but I like to try and buy the best of what’s available! ,I couldn’t bring myself to part with 4K for a new one! View attachment 34724
This one was 2k , a lot more than I wanted to pay, but it’s a long term investment and they never come up in this condition!I've been looking too I would not use it enough for a new 1 but 2nd hand ones 1200 upwards
It's better value than paying 3k less than new price for a 5 year old 1.5 tonner and in that condition as good as a new one anyhow. Short of not putting oil in the engine the only thing you can abuse on them is the belt and thats only a 2min job to swap (I always keep one on the shelf just in case)This one was 2k , a lot more than I wanted to pay, but it’s a long term investment and they never come up in this condition!
