Following Freds thread on telehandler cab tilt. I wondered what people's thoughts were on this digger cab tilt
Wonder what there like. How often would you use it. Like a poor mans tilt hitchIf it tilted both ways it would be a lot more use imho. The fact they only tilt to one side means you have to work the right way round which just isn't always possible.
I rang up think it was 21k. He wasn't impressed that was more than my budget. He should put the friggin price upPOA .... doesn't it just piss you off..... that fella Lloyd gets some real nice stuff though

Not worth the premium price I’d say. VDS is a crappy gimmick, much better off with a powertilt.I've never been on a wacker neuson digger so have no idea what they are like but have had 3 different dealers for them over the last 15 years within half hour from me. Admittedly first 2 sold other digger brands and only had the franchise for the dumper but neither of the 3 has ever made any headway selling the diggers. It just makes you wonder as if they were really as good as some say they are why don't i see any anywhere![]()
praise indeed from the forum's destructive testing dept.I've tried them.
They are lovely machines, if anything like there dumpers they are well built and extremely reliable.
But the issue with selling them seems to be that they are a unusual brand in the UK, and the dealers either have them priced cheap or are pretending there made of gold.
Definitely not a crappy gimmick if you’ve got the right job. If there wasn’t a demand, people wouldn’t buy them at the price Wacker ask over and above. But they do sell, and if you had enough of the right work and tried one out, you’d know why.Not worth the premium price I’d say. VDS is a crappy gimmick, much better off with a powertilt.
What is the right work? They raise the centre of gravity (not good on banks), and only tilt one way. Where would they be better than a Powertilt hitch?Definitely not a crappy gimmick if you’ve got the right job.
