oh i use cut off saw for slicing albeit dewalt flexvolt, but this little tool makes a factory edge on it in seconds.

They look good Fred . I would give them a try so I have a more legit option to use but the 14 inch stihl cut off saw won’t be beaten for speed

Still like my nerad gives great square cut

We were doing the driveway today , the previous contractor had just kept topping up the gravel every time he was asked to do the drive to the point that the drive was above the height of the grass so every time a coach came in the gravel ended up all over the grass much to the annoyance of the gardeners . Ideally I would of dug more out and put new type 1 down and then crushed rock chips and left a deeper cut at the sides of the lawn but the budget wasn’t stretching to that this time . Hopefully next time , it’s frustrating not getting to do exactly what you want but it is an improvement on what was there .

Marketing is a big thing for distilleries now, the Macallan just along the road from me is always doing some kind of special bottling or limited edition that all the collectors are falling over themselves to buy. It’s just whisky, if you’re not gonna drink it what’s the point, if you are gonna drink it you’re not gonna spend £thousands on it. A nice Aberlour 10yo is as good as any at a fraction of the cost.

I agree , a ten year old dalmore does me but I think the theory is that they are looking at the cocktail generation

I heard on the news that people are not eating biscuits like they used to either. We've got a bloody great big biscuit factory here as well that employs alot of folk in the area so hopefully that doesn't close

Not posted for a wee while on here and I’ve been recovering from first knee replacement so I’ve been laid up but while I’ve been down I took the opportunity to get a bit of work done on the plant .
The duck was first . She’s had another service plumbed in , a lick of paint , new Komatsu transfers and sign writing . Also a new set of boots .

They are BKTs
Same as what was on her . I got very good service out of the first set . I bought these from an outfit in the midlands and I think I paid about 170 a tyre for them with a tube and valve when I was getting quoted min 250 from local tyre fitters so I was delighted with that .
