This is underbuildings we are doing for a local contractor . The houses are very low energy and use renewable resources wherever possible . We get the pads completed , all the drainage and landscaping done and the services where possible before they come to site with the building .

How far are the pads underground ??
What size house are they to support them

The pad you can see is minimum 400mm in length then there is a pad found underneath that and I think from memory that they are 400 mm as well .
why were you asking was it regarding frost cover ?

Lovely day on site today. Doing a bit of surface water drainage through farmers field on the Black Isle . It’s a lovely place on a day like today with Ben Wyvis in the background. Bloody cold 🥶 though !

This cracks me up- he looks like a rampant sex pest out on the prowl for his next victim!
Sure he's lovely really.
🤣🤣🤣 The sex pest is Pablo Escobar , he’s never done shagging the couch right enough !

Doing some works on a listed building an hour north from me . Outline of job was to move a manhole further away from entrance door to house . By the way we get some sewer smells as well in this area .
Turned into a bit of a marathon .Some pipes were cast , some hepsleeve , some super sleeve and some plastic. Some sewer pipe had been piped into rainwater and rainwater had been piped into septic tank . No wonder smells are coming back up! Bit of a spaghetti junction of pipes and a lot of head scratching to sort .

They look good Fred . I would give them a try so I have a more legit option to use but the 14 inch stihl cut off saw won’t be beaten for speed
