Electric brakes would imagine the trailer was expensive

7.5t surely ??
couldn't see it having much of a load capacity at that though ??:unsure:
my 7.5t license allows me to go to 12t gross (pre '97) from memory - used to tow with my 7.5

On that sprinter and trailer would be around 4.5t including trailer same as the pickup fifth wheel setups

What is the road tax on it? I saw one similar a few months ago when driving through Alderley Edge and out of curiosity did a tax check and was cheaper than my D4 to tax!

Edit, just looked…£200 😵‍💫
Probably comes under 'band A' hgv tax.

Car wise I'm sure anything after 2017 is 200 a year and the luxury vehicle tax on top for the first 5 years.
Been looking at discoveries and seems the d5 are all 200 ( except commercials which are £350 ISH)

3.5t tug plus 3.5t trailer = 7000kg max gross combination weight .

Lucky you having a c1 … some of us were caught the wrong side of the 97 licensing changes :-(

LOL ... I'd had a HGV for 22 years in '97 :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO: ... got it at 18 :giggle:
Yep, it's been interesting how many changes to driving licences have evolved over the years. No doubt causing confusion and frustration for many :p
Proud to have held a licence for most categories except for buses Cat D etc - you have to be nice to yer passengers :ROFLMAO:
