30k in 18 monthsYou must not be working your lr's very hard if they arent breaking down.
You can drop it on the key fob remotely as wellDamn handy that air suspension. Controls just inside rear door makes life a doddle.
Rear tyre not so much![]()
Didn't know that! Option or standard ?You can drop it on the key fob remotely as well![]()
Yeah it’s a hefty option! But well worth it.Is the air suspension an option? Seen a few vids where they drop the suspension then drive under the hitch and just jack the suspension up again.
Is yours used as a work van
What's with the half loads?Half a dozen old bangers works for me. That leaves more cash to spend on the kit that makes a return (and depreciates at a third of the rate of a vehicle)

Genius. Thanks for that.Standard with all air suspension LR’s
Turn the hazards on and then it activates the key fob -
- Raising: Press and hold the Headlights and Unlock buttons.
- Lowering: Press and hold the Headlights and Lock buttons, or the Headlights and Taildoorbuttons.
- Resetting to Normal: Press and hold the Headlights and the Lock button (or Unlock/Lock depending on model).

Why do you need a Toureg and 400hp for moving kids about?Always bought used for cash, current v6 amarok bought at 70k generally most the niggles out them by then lol now on 110k will run it till 140k and move on for maybe 4k total cost over 5 years. Not to bad, think it’ll be a king cab or single cab next unless they sort the benefit in kind out. And I’ll pickup a cheap toureg etc for moving kids about
Why not?Why do you need a Toureg and 400hp for moving kids about?
Is it a cattle trailer full of them?
my mum had the v10 one for a bit, boy it was a monster but our Irish wolf hound wouldn't fit in the back so she went back to her land cruiser,Why do you need a Toureg and 400hp for moving kids about?

Every time I've had 2 vehicles though one of them always ends up sitting around going musty untill the few times a year I need it. Decided now I'm better of just running the one vehicle and accept there will be a few days a year I'll have to do without it (courtesy car etc) a truck sitting around spare still needs insurance, mot and tax. Never liked spending much on vehicles though as loose too much money on them for the 7k miles max I do a yearHaving had a brand new ranger on lease for 3 years, (never again)I agree completely
When you're a busy 1 man band 1 vehicle isn't enough, and no matter how reliable it is there will always be niggles/recalls/servicing that takes it out of service occasionally- then you're stuffed. And that's before the depreciation.
The builder/plant hire guy with the yard next to mine has had so much grief with his 18 month old mitsubishi tipper the last 2 month he's just bought himself a 10 plate range rover sport to keep himself moving!Seems to be working OK for the now but I wish he'd taken me to have a look at it for him first...

I have had the problem of one sitting idle in the past, but since I've got my every day tools sorted into packout crates I find it a lot easier to swap between themEvery time I've had 2 vehicles though one of them always ends up sitting around going musty untill the few times a year I need it. Quite, I didn’t even mention bout having exactly the right vehicle for each job. It’s a huge advantage as well as the spare capacity.Having had a brand new ranger on lease for 3 years, (never again)I agree completely

I thought it was only on new, a S/H one should be OK?it’ll be a king cab or single cab next unless they sort the benefit in kind out.
