Fun fact, everyone believes Cornwall has the most westerly point on mainland Britain 🇬🇧 but it’s not.

Still in shorts at the moment although have been wearing some over trousers due to crappy ground conditions.
I've got a load of scruff jeans don't really tend to wear them, yes they are more presentable but find they limit my movement or get thigh rub 😭
Those in the link don't look too bad, I'd rather be comfortable for the day

Work trousers here - not a fan of track suit bottoms on the job.

For anyone that wants an alternative to jeans I wear carhartt double fronted logger's they are designed to be worked in so design doesnt restrict movement they are really thick and hard wearing they have an extra path over most of the front where it normally wears badly and if you want warm they are available with flannel pinning which is unbelievable warm
And if you get them in dark brown it seems to hide every colour of muck so still look presentable after a week's work

I wear Carhartt, pretty much all the time, shorts as well. Have had many pairs of B01 trousers, which are probably what you wear?
But last winter tried the R01 bib n brace, total convert to them now. So much more comfortable without a waistband.

Yes I think that's them and I have a pair of the Bob and brace as well not sure which ones which mine don't have the zips up the outside I agree how comfortable they are and they keep the small of my back covered keeping kidneys warm and generally keeping me a lot warmer
They do the bib and brace as flannel lined as well for extra warmth

always been jeans under Proban boiler suits ... got to be trying hard to set a pair of jeans alight and pretty spark proof ... cotton work trousers, although maybe more comfortable in the flex dept. just don't stop the hot bits
you'd sure notice the difference in warmer weather, wearing shorts under the Proban :(

I like B&B overalls, but could never find anyone doing them in Proban .... those Carhartt look the mutts James ... can't seem to find anyone on line that ain't sold out ??

I bought the helly Hansen bib and brace from sports direct year or so ago they have been decent wish I bought a couple of pairs though as seem to be triple what I paid at the time. Full zips down both sides and very easy to get in and out of

Ruffntuff are the best place to get carhartt in this country but they don't seem to have much up atm

There are 2 different bib and brace one to wear as overall with zips up the side for getting in and out and one without to be worn instead of trousers I have the second kind

Try Cabela's or bass pro for the flannel lined stuff I think that's where I saw it probably unpopular in the uk I had a set of the trousers but gave them away as living in the south east it never got cold enough I just roasted in it when trying to work
They also do there entire range as flame retardant but haven't seen these in the uk

These may be cotton, but they are super heavyweight and trust me, they stop hot bits! And anything else you throw at them! I wear the R01 B&B, instead of trousers. They are fantastic for work I find, great pockets ect. They don’t last forever, I’m in them day in day out, and they do wear out, the fabric wears thin in the crotch and then they are past it, but they’ve had a LOT of use by that point, so I’m not bothered.

@Smiffy , I’ve not hear of Ruffntuff? I used to use Rugged & Tough, but they ceased trading for some reason. I now use MI Supplies, and can’t fault them tbh, I tend to by most stuff when it’s on offer if I can.
I must say I do like the Carharrt gear, I think the only think I’m wearing at the moment that’s not Carharrt are my socks! :ROFLMAO:

I’ve also got a pair of lined Carharrt overalls. But you’ve got to be sitting on your arse doing nothing, or it’s got to be -36*C, because they are so bloody warm, if you start grafting, then you soon start sweating! Lovely in the right conditions though.
