The Bobcat compaction range is Amman just rebranded. And Amman do quality gear. I think as usual it comes down to price really. I got a great deal on my Bobcat one because they were looking to push them into the market. But they all thump it down at the end of the day.
My Bobcat one replaced a very tired Wacker 2stroke that I had for years and paid under £200 for. Spent an air filter on it and some fuel - it did a great job but was a pig to start. So I've now got a 4 stroke one.
